Ad Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Ad Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Ad Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of digital advertising campaigns, including ad trafficking, campaign setup, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, accurate tracking, and optimal campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end campaign setup process, including ad trafficking, creative QA, and campaign configuration in ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager, DV360).
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., media planning, creative, analytics) and external partners (e.g., ad networks, publishers) to gather campaign assets, specifications, and trafficking instructions.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of tracking pixels, tags, and third-party tracking parameters to measure campaign performance and attribution.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of campaign delivery, pacing, and performance metrics, and proactively optimize campaigns to maximize results.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving, tracking discrepancies, and creative rendering across different devices and platforms.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting ad serving errors, discrepancies, and technical issues, collaborating with ad tech vendors and platform support teams as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new features within ad serving platforms and ad tech ecosystem, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in ad operations, digital advertising, or related roles within a media agency, ad tech company, or publisher.
  • Strong technical skills with experience working with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager), ad tags, tracking pixels, and third-party ad servers.
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and ad tech protocols (e.g., VAST, VPAID) for troubleshooting ad creative and tracking implementations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze campaign performance metrics, and derive actionable insights to optimize campaign delivery and performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
